A binary card from the Michigan State University Computer Laboratory, laid out for programs on its Control Data 6500 running SCOPE, Control Data’s operating system. Instead of one character per column, binary cards packed raw machine words into the holes, so they’re punched much more densely than ordinary cards. The printed labels map out the format, from the check sum and word count to the load address and sequence number. It was made by Hackett (form M-811619).
